Soup

You can make a bowl of vegetable or chicken or mutton soup very easily. Take your pick and add black pepper and a pinch of salt and you’ve got the healthiest food before you. You can also try sweet corn soup, tomato soup or almond soup. Besides, making soup doesn’t take long at all and for all that you get a bowl full of health.

Milk

Drink a glass of skimmed milk, which will curb your hunger and cut down extra fat. You can get these benefits from yogurt, cottage cheese and buttermilk too. Milk, in combination with eggs, is also excellent for staving off those hunger pangs. Eat your eggs friend, boiled or scrambled.

Salad Bowl

A bowl of green leafy vegetables such as spinach, cabbage, kale, broccoli, lettuce, collards and brussel sprouts make a nutritious salad. Choose from among these vegetables and let their fiber content give you a satiated feeling. This diet snack gives you the benefit of iron, vitamins, minerals and plant-based components that help reduce your risk for heart disease, cancer and diabetes. Alternatively, you could steam them.

Dark Chocolate

Perhaps you find the bitterness of dark chocolate a deterrent to drink it, but if you consider adding coffee to it, that would keep the impact of steric acid (that causes this bitterness) at bay. Plus you get the goodness of a satiated feeling, so you won’t eat mindlessly for some time.

Oats

Eat a bowl of cooked oats or porridge, which not only keeps you feeling full due to its high fiber content, but also normalizes your blood sugar levels. This makes a great snack for any time of the day that can curb hunger too. To top up its nutrition quotient, you could add some berries to it.

Cottage Cheese

Eat this wonderfully healthy snack with blueberries, strawberries, peaches or bananas or dried fruit. Packed with proteins, it also contains phosphorus, which is good for your bones, and Riboflavin that converts your food into energy and helps with red blood cell production.

Yogurt and Granola

This amazing combination of protein and fiber keep you feeling full till your next meal. To enhance its nutrition quotient, add your favorite fruits and convert it into a smoothie. Try strawberries, bananas or blueberries or all three.
